Our Power Point Presentations and lecture provide you with professional audio and visual learning environment. Our classes include:
- Introduction to the Tarot: A brief history of the Tarot will help you to understand the basics of the cards and their relationship to our standard deck of playing cards. In this class you will learn the keys to reading the cards, the meaning of the colors, and how the numbers relate to the reading. You will learn the relationship of the Planets and the Elements to the Tarot. Finally, we will go in depth on the 12 cards of the Major Arcana that relate to the Astrological Sun Signs. Class Requirements include a deck of Rider Waite Tarot Cards (they can be purchased at Spirit Quest on the day of the class for a 10% discount). Your workbook is included in the class tuition.
- Major Arcana: In this class we will study each of the 22 cards of the Major Arcana. You will be given the symbolic meanings of the pictures on the cards. You will learn the journey of the Fool which further ties the message of the Tarot to your readings. We will review and practice 3 card spreads, applying what we have covered in class. Your workbook is included in the class tuition.
- Minor Arcana I - The Wands and The Cups: In this class we begin with the first two suits of the Minor Arcana. We discuss in detail each card, the relationship of the numbers of the cards. You will be given the "personality" traits of the members of the Royal Arcana. Your workbook is included in the class tuition.
- Minor Arcana II - The Swords and The Pentacles: In this class we continue with the last two suits of the Minor Arcana. We discuss in detail each card, the relationship of the numbers of the cards. You will be given the "personality" traits of the members of the Royal Arcana. Your workbook is included in the class tuition.
- Tarot Spreads, Ethics and Hands on Practice: The most popular Tarot Spread is the Celtic Cross. This will be taught in detail and you will learn the variations of the Cross layout. We will discuss the ethics of the profession and lastly we will do actual readings on one another using the Celtic cross.
- Tarot Boot Camp - 2 day class which will include practice readings: This intensive class gives all four of the classes listed above in a 2 day time period for those who want to complete the course in a shorter time period. All workbook material is provided.
- Chakra Balancing and Meditation -This Audio/Visual class room instruction by a trained Reiki Master will teach you the basics of the Chakras in full detail. The relationship of each chakra to colors and the astrological signs will be covered. After the class instruction, we will have hands on practice of the meditation and balancing for the chakras. Your will leave this class refreshed with all energy centers in balance.
