Welcome Marilyn and thank you for allowing me to do your reading.  In today’s reading, I have used the Celtic Cross Spread.  This consists of ten cards for the reading and three additional cards for confirmation.  

Your question was:  “Will our financial position improve soon?” You added, your husband was the wage earner and you were not working outside of the home.

The Reading:

The first card was the King of Cups.  This card represents your husband.  He is very reliable and hard working.  He devotes a great deal of his time to his work and he is respected in the workplace.  Because of his hard working nature, he is often misunderstood and thought of as aloof around others.  This is not true, as he is very comfortable within himself and does not let anyone’s opinion of him “derail” is passion for his work or his family.  

The next card, that which is crossing him is the Ace of Wands.  This shows that there is a new opportunity on the horizon (if it has not already presented itself, it will shortly).  Your husband will have the energy and desire to start this new venture.  Because I see other Wands in this reading, there is a very good chance that this venture will be successful.  If your husband is employed by others, this looks like a great opportunity to expand his current position or even a promotion within the company.  However, I feel he may be self-employed and if this is the case, this is a new venture.  A new job opportunity either in the same field or completely different from what he is doing now.  But, which ever the case, he is about to embark on a new journey.  

The foundation of your question is represented by the Ace of Pentacles.  This is another very good card to indicate your situation will be good.  This card represents money in the beginning stages.  Coupling this with the Ace of Wands new venture, job etc. is very encouraging.  Aces are a welcome site with your question.  In particular, drawing this card shows that money will be forthcoming.  

The four of Wands is your best outcome (that which crowns you) and this shows that the ambition of your husband will be rewarded.  You and your husband will rejoice in his success and you will be very happy with that which is unfolding.  

In the recent past I see that you have been sort of juggling money, as represented by the drawing of the two of Pentacles.  You both have been concerned about your finances and this has caused your husband to feel as if he has been caught in a trap.  This new venture is going to renew him and you will see that he has the “spark” back that was always his driving force.  

The near future shows that there will still be some struggles getting this new venture off the ground (the 5 of swords) but in the end your husband will prevail and he will be very pleased that all of the effort, yes and stress will pay off handsomely.  

Your husband will seek the advice and assistance that he needs along the way to ensure the success of your financial future as is represented by the three of Wands.  This card also represents that new deals in business will be successful.  Three’s indicate that it takes cooperation of several to be successful.  

The Knight of Cups shows that in this situation your husband may have to do some travel in connection with his venture.  These will be short trips, close to home or just an overnight stay.  These trips will be in direct relationship to his potential income.  

Your hopes and your fears in this situation are represented by the four of pentacles.  You seem to have had some fear over the lack of money, so you will be more prudent with your spending.  At this time, try not to over extend yourself by taking on any new debts.  Try instead to concentrate on paying off any debts (credit cards, autos etc.)  This will help to eliminate financial pressure and to give you that much needed sense of security that you are seeking.  

The final outcome card is the Magician which is wonderful in connection with all of the other cards in your spread.  The magic is that your road of choice (the venture, job etc.) was well chosen.  Your husband is using his own gut (intuition) during this process and because he is a person of faith and dedication, his journey will be fruitful and successful.

Finally to see if we are still on a very positive note I drew the last card….the 3 of cups.  This is a card of rejoicing and celebrations.  Noting that in the end you will celebrate this financial improvement.
